Faculty of Dentistry
The Faculty of Dentistry was founded in 1990. In 1995, the faculty graduated from the first 44 graduates who continued their education in clinical residency.
The first dean of the faculty was Anelita Hayk Hovhannisyan. Later, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine was headed by Nune Martiros Abrahamyan, Karen Adolphi Karakyan.
The basic education of the Faculty of Dentistry is currently being organized by a five-year continuous integrated program. The training is organized in Armenian. At present 273 students are studying at the faculty. During the study students study both theoretical and professional and related clinical subjects. Practical training are widely used in educational phantoms, moldings, didactic materials. During the Master's study, teaching is accompanied by improved practical skills.
Upon completion of the continuously integrated training, graduates are given a qualification of a doctor-stomatologist with a degree in "Dentistry".
